Shows & Program Information
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I watch even if I don’t have a horse?
Certainly! We provide bleacher seating for your viewing convenience, and many attendees opt to bring their own chairs to arrange around the show arena. However, we kindly request that you refrain from leaning or sitting on the fence to avoid startling the horses. It's important to maintain respect for the participants and help foster a family-friendly atmosphere. Keep in mind that our events take place outdoors, so please plan accordingly based on the weather conditions.
What happens if there is rain or bad weather?
In the event of excessively wet show grounds, which could pose challenges for vehicle access and create slippery conditions for the horses, we may choose to either cancel or postpone the show. Nevertheless, the prospect of rain does not deter us, thanks to our well-equipped deep sand show arena that can readily handle a brief shower. For inquiries about the status of a show, each showbill includes contact numbers that you can call to verify whether the event will proceed as scheduled.
What else do we need to know?
Parking and viewing are complimentary. If you prefer not to use the bleachers, kindly bring your own chairs. Please note that we have limited shaded areas, so it's advisable to plan for your personal comfort. We are unable to provide additional chairs, so we recommend arriving prepared. Our events take place entirely outdoors, which means you should be ready for various weather conditions. It can get buggy, so we suggest bringing mosquito spray. For evening shows or colder weather, consider bringing jackets or blankets, and for hot days, don't forget sunscreen. Furthermore, we offer a variety of food options at our on-site food stand, including brats, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, baked goods, water, and a selection of sodas.
Trail Riding Program
Our trail riding program offers an exclusive opportunity to recognize and reward Beaver Creek Saddle and Bridle Club Members who devote their time to riding their horses on the trails rather than in the show ring. This initiative allows riders to earn well-deserved awards in recognition of their commitment to spending quality time with their equine companions in a more relaxed and scenic setting. Members who participate in this program can look forward to a range of incentives and acknowledgments for their dedication to trail riding.
